Samurai in another word is Bushi. This word is more common in Japan. Sometimes they were called Buke.....

Mukushin means this: My mind(kokoro= shin) has no limited line like sky(ku), and there is nothing(mu) in it. These were the words of Kaiso (Founder), and this is the reason he named his style Mukushin.
Ryu means School or Style.
Bujutsu means the Techniques (or Art) of War (or Stopping Conflict)

Brief History of Mukushin Ryu

Mukushin-ryu Bujutsu was founded in 1470’s. The founder was Ohashi Kageyuzaemon Takayoshi. Kageyuzaaemon was a high-ranking student of the Chuujou-ryu school in Echizen (Fukui prefecture now). As a fellow pupil, there were Yamazaki Ukyounosuke Shougan and Asakura Takakage. Their instructor was Kai Yoshihisa who was the student of 5th Chuujou-ryu souke Chuujou Mochiyasu.
Japan was in Sengoku Jidai (the age of civil war). There were battles constantly all over Japan. Lower rank people attacked their lords and took their position, or lords were trying to expand their lands.
